Mineral Make-Up Tips

Before applying cosmetics, use the proper cleanser, toner and moisterizer for your skin type.

We recommend the following: By doing the eyes first, allow your moisturizer time to stabilize before applying foundation.

Loose and pressed mineral are concealer foundation, powder and sun block all in one: Dip your brush into the power and then tap the bursh against the inside of the lid to evenly disperse the power on the brush. Be careful...a little of these micronized minerals goes a long way!

Always apply foundation in a downward motion to minimize impact of facial hair.

Finding foundation to match your optimal skin tone, begin with a touch of loose powder #1006 or #1004 on the jaw line. It will be easy to see whether to lighter or darker.

Cheeks

place index and middle fingers at the edge of the nostril, dust lightly with blush toward temple, then blend the blush with contour brush by using it in a circular motion along the edges of the blush to remove the edges. To accent for evening, select a darker shade to be used in the hollow of the cheek (below the other blush) and blend out with a contour brush.

Color Correction

The secret is simple. Appy concealer in the opposite color to correct imperfectons before covering with make-up. On the color spectrum, yellow is the opposite of blue, green of red. Using opposites is also how painters tone down bright colors.
